“ The food and service were both excellent. My wife and I decided to eat lunch prior to grocery shopping....we saw that Angelo's was open (major construction along the road in front of the restaurant). We went in & were seated immediately. Clare was our server & brought with her a delightful attitude. She offered several very good suggestions. We ordered mozzarella balls, shrimp bisque, and lasagne with garlic bread. Everything was perfect. We will return. ”

“ Busy neighborhood spot. Traditional and very clean interior. Our waitress was right on point, even though we arrived a bit late and ended up closing the place. We had the sale, based ziti and calzone. Nothing unique, but all was exactly as expected, ample portions and quite tasty. We'd likely return on our next trip to Waynesville. ”

There has been no effort to turn the place into something contemporary or trendy, and there is no need for that. The food does not require hipster "packaging" to please its customers. The pizza is tasty with yummy crust, while the pasta and Antipasto salad are also delicious! Great place to eat! ”
“ A happy find after attending the C10 Nationals in Maggie Valley. We knew we had hit the jackpot upon entering. The authentic aromas were mouth watering. We had a hard time deciding so we ordered and shared a Greek Salad, Meatball Appetizer which was (2) golfball size meatballs swimming in amazing marinara sauce; steamed Mussels in a white wine sauce topped with pepperoni shavings and feta (includes 2 homemade rolls). The mussels were a generous portion well worth $10. We had a small house pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, & onion. A $.75 cent up charge was added for a substitution of basil for green peppers which had us scratching our head. Everything was deliciously prepared and fresh. Our server Kristia was very attentive. It was a $50 lunch including a 20% tip but definitely no regrets! We are already planning our next visit and meal. ”
